Tara Kathlene Duvall

Tara Kathlene (Slettvet) Duvall, 62, of New Castle passed away Tuesday, October 22, 2024 at her home. She was born July 9, 1962 in Henry County to the late Archie and Thelma Irene (Smith) Slettvet.

Tara loved to paint and was an excellent at flower arrangements. She enjoyed dogs and her favorite was her Yorkie.

She is survived by her brothers, Terry (Cheryl) Slettvet and Larry Slettvet; her sisters, Laura Moore and Linda (Roger) Raines; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Archie, Sandy and Irene Slettvet, her husband, Delmer Duvall; sisters, Lana Gooding and Sharon Thompson.

Visitation will be held on Monday, October 28, 2024 from 12:00 – 2:00 p.m. at Hinsey-Brown Funeral Service in New Castle. Burial will follow in South Mound Cemetery. You may express condolences or share a memory of Tara at www.hinsey-brown.com.
