Teresa Anne Forester

Teresa Anne Forester of New Castle, In passed away Friday, July 28th, unexpectedly after a courageous and prolonged battle with cancer. Teresa was born May 3rd, 1961 in Connecticut to Fredrick Williams and Marie Kilcollins. Teresa followed family through Michigan, Indiana, and Maine before returning home to New Castle.

Teresa spent many years working in retail management and was very passionate about her career. Always a warm soul Teresa dedicated many years of her life taking care of others. She was always there for someone in need.

Teresa loved summers in Maine, cooking, gardening, working on home improvement projects and spending time with family and friends. She would often host dinners for family and friends with meals she had cooked. Teresa was an animal lover, known for adopting pets and taking care of wayward neighborhood animals. She could often be found snuggling on the couch with her dogs Lillian and Parmely, or walking around her home with her cockatiel Loki on her shoulder.

Teresa always went out of her way to help anyone in need and her warmth and love will be greatly missed.
Teresa was preceded in death by her father Fredrick Williams and grandmother Francis Kilcollins.
Teresa is survived by husband Kurt Forester, one son James Bennett, mother Marie Williams, one sister Kim Williams, brother Donald Williams, and Aunt Tammy Edwards. She is also survived by many aunts, cousins, nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, August 5, 2023 from 12:00 pm until 2:00 pm at Hinsey-brown Funeral Service in New Castle. In leu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Henry County Humane Society, 11 Midway Drive, New Castle, Indiana 47362.
