Tillie Marie McFarland, 81, of New Castle passed away Friday, February 20, 2009 at her residence. She was born February 11, 1928 in Richmond.
Tillie lived most of her life in Arizona where she was employed by L.I. Signal and has resided in New Castle for the last 13 years. She has been employed by Wal-Mart for the past 13 years as a door greeter. She was an avid collector of angel figurines and will be dearly missed by her loved ones.
She is survived by her daughter: Melina Garcia of New Castle; two sons: Bud and Herald McFarland of Arizona; a nephew: Greg McFarland of Pendleton and a niece: Sandy Williams of Kentucky.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, her son and one sister.
