Tracy Dinkins Hawk

May 28, 1965 — July 8, 2011

Tracy Victoria Dinkins Hawk “Ice Lady”, 46, of New Castle was traveling on life’s journey on Brown Road to where her final destination was to go be with the Lord on July 8, 2011. She was born May 28, 1965 in Henry County. Tracy was a treasured daughter to Tom Dinkins and the late Sandy Sue (Bunner) Dinkins

Tracy left such a wonderful impression and such love of Jesus where ever she was and to who ever she met. She had such a joyful loving spirit and beamed the shining glory of Jesus with a smile that would light up a room. Tracy walked everyday through faith and encouraging words. She was a member of the Four Square Gospel Church of New Castle.

Tracy worked at her high school job Hardees where she waited on many people with her contagious smile. She graduated from New Castle Chrysler High School in 1983. That then led her to the love of her life Richard Hawk. Soon after, the newlyweds were blessed with a loving daughter, Aria Richelle Hawk. Tracy gave her life to her pride and joy as a stay at home mother. After sending her baby girl to school she found her niche at crafts and flowers. Tracy worked at Country Blessings and Sherry’s Custom Creations where she used her creative imagination to pass on the word of the Lord through unique crafts and flowers. Once Aria was moving forward Tracy then took her free time to devote herself to children. Tracy then valued her new job of touching the lives of her needy students. Tracy was employed at New Castle Community Schools for 9 school years. Mrs. Hawk was a great friend, leader and copilot for her struggling students. And was such an inspirational role model to her peers and students, this job brought such joy to Tracy’s life. While enjoying her summer breaks her extraordinary treasured brother Tim Lee Dinkins and Tracy hustled to beat the sweat and put long hours in mowing lawns. To also hustle up an extra dollar she used her power blasting voice to spread her blessing with her loving talented brother Tim Dinkins by entertaining long term care residents thru her brothers DJ service.

Tracy was always the life of a party and loved to have a good time. She always stated THE MORE BLING THE BETTER. Her sense of humor was out of this world. She was always upbeat and loved to save a dollar. She could plan a party on a dime. Tracy loved to sit around the pool and soak up the sun then kick back and relax while singing with her powerful beautiful voice to Karaoke songs. She treasured her time reminiscing around a campfire roasting marshmallows with her family and friends.

Even though Tracy loved to save a dollar she always would take her chances at hitting the “Big One” at bingo or the casino. These were some of the many activities that helped to bring her and her special daughter to the incomparable friendship they shared. They both were each others strength and armor and best friends. Tracy so enjoyed the special times she shared with her beloved brother and daughter out on the lake fishing to try and catch a “Lunker”.

Throughout the inspiration of Tracy and her life with all of her uplifting and encouraging words she leaves behind her confidant and supporter Richard Hawk; her best friend and daughter: Aria Richelle Hawk (special friend: Nathan Abernathy); her cherished brother Tim Dinkins (special friend: Melissa Ward); father: Tom (wife: Anna) Dinkins; dear comforter Kevin Cornner; aunt: Sharron (husband: Larry) Rowe; and many extended family. Tracy had many acquaintances and special dear friends. Though our hearts are broken, heaven is rejoicing.

Tracy was preceded in death by: her mother: Sandy Dinkins; her grandfather: Paul Bunner; grandmother: Joyce Bunner; cousin: Bubby (Charlie) Williams; uncle: Richard Dinkins and several other aunts & uncles.

“Death leaves heartache that no one can heal, but love leaves memories that no one can steal.”
