Travis Bardonner, 38, of Middletown passed away on Monday, October 16, 2023, at Henry Community Health. He was born on December 24, 1984, in Anderson to Anonda (Metzger) Bardonner.
He was a devoted father, husband and son. Travis graduated from Anderson High School in 2003. He was a member of Sulphur Springs Christian Church. Travis worked at the New Castle Correctional Facility for 14 years as the head of the training department. He enjoyed Karate, shooting guns and most of all spending time with his family. Travis will be deeply missed by his family and many friends.
Survivors include his loving wife and best friend of 17 years, Bethany Bardonner; daughters, Sophia, Eloise and Genavieve; mother, Anonda (Fiancé Tony Leach) Bardonner; stepsister, Jaona Burk; stepbrother, Gene Bardonner; mother-in-law, Tracy Carmine; father-in-law, Lameck Gadd; along with many aunts, uncles and cousins; lifelong best friend, Matt (Lindsey) Lines and Matt’s parents, Dave and Connie Lines whom Travis considered his second family.
Travis is preceded in death by his stepfather, Wayne Bardonner; grandparents, Bill and Loretta Metzger; grandmother-in-law, Jerra Gadd.
Services will be held at 11:00 am on Monday, October 23, 2023, at Sulphur Springs Christian Church officiated by Pastor CJ Buskirk. Visitation will be from 3:00-7:00 pm on Sunday, October 22, 2023, at the Church. Memorial contributions can be made to the Bardonner Girls College Fund c/o Hinsey-Brown Funeral Service..
