Trent Allen Haynes, 34, of Markleville passed away after a long courageous battle with cancer Tuesday, January 6, 2015 at Community Hospital in Anderson. He was born in New Castle, IN on August 9, 1980 to Dennis and Pat (Jenkins) Haynes of Pendleton.
Trent was most recently employed at Riverside Intermediate-Hamilton Southeastern School as a custodian. He enjoyed spending time with his girls, guitars, cars, especially his 1968 Roadrunner, scary movies and Halloween. He especially enjoyed helping coach Emma’s softball team.
In addition to his parents, Trent is survived by his wife, Stephanie (Marsh) Haynes of Markleville; daughters, Emma and Mia Haynes; paternal grandmother, Gerri Haynes of Pendleton; maternal grandmother, Edith Hamby of Tennessee; brothers in law, Lanny Randolph of Anderson, Tony (Shellie) Marsh of Anderson; mother in law, Linda Marsh of Anderson; daughter #2, Kaitie Feaster of New Castle; several aunts, uncles, cousins and all of “Trent’s Troopers”. The family would like to thank the offices of Dr. Naqvi, Dr. Zook and Dr. Hanna and their wonderful staff.
He was preceded in death by his brother, Jason Eugene Haynes; grandfathers, Gene Haynes and S.V. Hamby; great grandparents, Oral and Eliza Witham and Rosemary Haynes; brothers in law, Tim Marsh, Kevin Marsh; grandmother in law, Donna Secord.
Services will be at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, January 11, 2015 at Hinsey-Brown Funeral Service in New Castle with Rev. John Jameson officiating. Burial will follow at McCray Cemetery in Wilkinson.
