Victor “Vic” Everett Gulley, 70, of Spiceland passed away Sunday, January 12, 2020 at his residence. He was born October 19, 1949 in Carthage, Indiana, a son of the late Junior and Ruth (Jackson) Gulley.
He attended school in Knightstown and at the age of 16 started working at Kraft in Shirley, walking to work to buy his first new car. Vic then worked at Chrysler in New Castle from 1967 to 1998, where he retired after thirty years. He loved corn hole, darts, race cars and driving around looking at the scenery. He enjoyed his life to the fullest and will be missed.
Survivors include his wife of 50 years, Velma Jean Gulley; children, Shelly Gulley of New Castle, Sabrina Thrall of Spiceland; granddaughter, Lexi Neil; sister, Dinah (husband: Dave) Morgan of Mooreland; sister in law, Judy Gulley of New Castle and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by siblings, Randy Gulley, Lana Tuttle, Donna Pierce and Cindy Sayre.
Services will be 5:00 p.m. Thursday, January 16, 2020 at Hinsey-Brown Funeral Service in New Castle with Mark Herbkersman officiating. Friends may call from 3:00 – 5:00 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. You may express condolences or share a memory of Vic at
