Violet G. Webster, age 102, of New Castle, passed away Sunday, June 7, 2009 at Henry County Hospital. She was born October 7, 1906 in Muncie, Indiana to the late Daniel Lewis and Eva Gay (Jones) Teboe.
She was a homemaker most of her life, but had worked at various product plants. She was a member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witness in New Castle.
Survivors include a son: Charles “Dick†(wife: Linda) Webster of New Castle; sisters: Birdie Hutson, and Evelyn Edwards both of Westfield; three grandsons: David Christopher (wife: Brandi) Webster and Timothy Brian (wife: Dusty) Webster both of New Castle, Paul Dewayne (wife: Linda) Webster of Muncie; four great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; a special friend Evelyn Walker; sister-in-law: Melba Teboe of Grand Haven, MI.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband: Charles Webster; stepson: Paul E. Webster; brothers: Harold, Ray, Thomas, Allen and Orval Teboe; sisters: Mary Ellen Barker, Anna Murial Rupkey and Bessie E. Franklin.
Services will be at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, June 10, 2009 at Hinsey-Brown Funeral Service in New Castle with Jim Flowers officiating. Burial will follow in Beech Grove Cemetery in Muncie. Friends may call Tuesday, June 9, 2009 from 4-8 p.m. at the funeral home. Online condolences may be made at
