Walter H. Paugh, age 62, of Knightstown died unexpectedly Thursday, September 30, 2010 at his residence. He was born April 21, 1948 in Indianapolis, Indiana, son of Robert Paugh and Charlotte (Burton) Tolen.
He was a 1966 graduate of Franklin Central High School in Indianapolis. He retired from CSX Railroad in April 2010, after 44 years of service. Walter enjoyed hunting and attending Motorcross events. He loved his dog Zanny and he will be missed by his family and friends.
Survivors include a daughter: Michele Paugh of Knightstown; four grandchildren: Cody Juday, Keianna Paugh, Peyton Inman and Kuhryssa Paugh, all of Knightstown; a sister: Dawn (husband, Mark) Levine of Cincinnati, OH; his mother: Charlotte (husband, Jim) Tolen of Fairland; and former wife: Pam Paugh of Carthage;
He was preceded in death his father: Robert Paugh; a son: Chris Paugh in 2007; and a brother Greg Paugh.
Services will be 5:00 p.m. Thursday, October 7, 2010 at Hinsey-Brown Funeral Service in Knightstown with Reverend Roger Campbell officiating. Burial will take place at a later date in Riverside Cemetery in Carthage. Friends may call from 3-5 Thursday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be given to a fund for Walter’s grandchildren, c/o Hinsey-Brown Funeral Service, 7355 South State Road 109, Knightstown, IN 46148.
