Wanda K Crabtree

Wanda K. Crabtree, age 60, of New Castle, passed away unexpectedly Thursday, February 10, 2011 at Methodist Hospital. She was born June 11, 1950 in Albany, Kentucky to the late Floyd and Irene (Dicken) Starnes.

She attended Sound the Alarm Church in New Castle. Wanda was an avid bingo player and loved spending time with her family. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

Survivors include her children, Myran (wife, Karen) Crabtree of Spiceland, Kenny (wife, Jami) Riddle of New Castle and Mark Crabtree of New Castle; four grandchildren: Cody Lee Crabtree, Courtney Crabtree, Cameron Charles Crabtree and Kaylee Riddle; sisters, Linda Sue House (companion, Dave Fox), Juanita Williams (companion, Charles Heck) Frances (husband, Ron) Lovett all of New Castle; brothers, Marshall (wife, Cindy) Starnes of Albany, KY, Arnold Starnes of New Castle; three step-sisters; six step brothers; several nieces and nephews; aunts and an uncle.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Charles D. Crabtree in 2003; a brother, Willard Starnes 2010.

Services will be at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, February 15, 2011 at Hinsey-Brown Funeral Service in New Castle with Reverend Charles Dugger officiating. Burial will follow in Green Hills Memory Gardens.
