Wanda Lois Smith

Wanda Lois Smith, 80, of Shirley, passed away Friday, January 6, 2023 at her residence. She was born July 17, 1942 in Overton County, TN the daughter of Clarence and Suzie (Cantrell) Smith.
Wanda was a graduate of Noblesville High School and retired from General Motors after 32 years of service. She enjoyed flower gardening, knitting, was an excellent cook and would take food to anyone in need. She loved her grandbabies and spending time with her family.
She is survived by her husband of 61 years, Kenneth Smith; son, Kenneth D. (Melodie) Smith of New Castle; grandchildren, Kori (Jacob) Bever and Kaleb (Michelle) Smith; great grandchildren, Barrett and Brylin; siblings, Larry (Blanche) Smith, Aletha Fiser; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by brothers, Stephen, Marshall, Danny and Mitchell Smith; sisters, Rita Markich and Dixie McKinney; grandson, “K.C.” Joe Smith.
Services will be at 1:00 PM Monday, January 9, 2023 at Hinsey-Brown Funeral Service Knightstown Chapel. Burial will follow in McCray Cemetery. Visitation will be from 11:00 AM until time of service. Condolences and memories of Wanda may be shared at www.hinsey-brown.com .
