Wanda I. Winters

Wanda I. Winters, 80, of Knightstown, passed away peacefully Monday, April 23, 2012 at Hancock Regional Hospital. She was born July 21, 1931 in Grant City the daughter of George and Anna (Magee) Youse.

Wanda enjoyed being a homemaker, and her family was her passion. She loved to travel no matter how short the trip, enjoyed needlework and spending time with family and friends.

She is survived by four children: Robert (Janice) Schaeffer of Knightstown, Susan (Jeff) Van Hoy of Knightstown, Jane (Mel) Matlock of Knightstown, Eric Winters of Carthage; grandchildren: Jennifer (Corey) Johnson of Knightstown, Jeffrey and Jordan Van Hoy both of Knightstown, Rob and Ross Matlock both of Knightstown, Abigail Winters of Carthage; great grandchildren: Kyle Johnson, Melanie and Madison Matlock; a brother: Howard Robert Youse of Columbus, OH; several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband: Robert Schaeffer; second husband: Mack Winters; son: Greg Winters; several brothers and sisters.

Service will be at 2:00 PM Wednesday, April 25, 2012 at Hinsey-Brown Funeral Service Knightstown Chapel with Reverend Mark Tabb officiating. Burial will follow in Glen Cove Cemetery.
