Wanda L. Wyatt, 74, a resident of Knightstown passed away Saturday, December 2, 2017 at Methodist Hospital. She was born July 28, 1943 in Rushville to the late Clifford and Retha (Bradburn) Colestock.
She was an active member of First Southern Baptist Church in Rushville. Her passion was her family and she loved attending her grandchildren’s sporting events, plays and other various activities. Wanda was a very loving, generous and kind person, always putting others before herself. She was also very patriotic and enjoyed making meals for others. Wanda was a huge Larry Bird and Peyton Manning fan.
Survivors include her husband of 54 years, as well as her soul mate: Robert “Bob” Wyatt; two children: Robert (Suzy) Wyatt, II and Michele (Gary) Weidner, both of Knightstown; her loving grandchildren: Robert “Bobby” (Luci) Wyatt III, Coleman and Candice Wyatt and Jarrett, Kiera and Tyler Weidner; a sister: Becky (Paul) Harr of Rushville; a brother: Lowell (Patsy) Colestock of Knightstown; several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters: Dee VanBibber and Emma McCrory.
Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, December 7, 2017 at Hinsey-Brown Funeral Service, Knightstown Chapel with Pastor Jeff Edwards officiating. Burial will follow in Glen Cove Cemetery.
