Willodean J. Kaylor Weimer, age 96, of Knightstown, passed away Thursday, December 29, 2011 at Springhurst Health Campus in Greenfield. She was born October 25, 1915 in Ohio City, OH, a daughter of the late Claude R. and Lura (Smith) Gephart.
A 1934 graduate of Ohio City, Ohio High School, Willodean attended Huntington College (formerly Huntington Teachers College). She was a member of the United Methodist Church for over 75 years and served as a volunteer at Huntington Hospital for over 20 years. She retired from Art Chemicals in Huntington. A member of the Shakespeare Club in Knightstown, she also enjoyed spending time with family and friends.
She is survived by her husband, Wilbur Weimer of Knightsown; a daughter, Camile (husband, Robert) Weimer of Knightstown; a son, Larry (wife, Rosalie) Kaylor of Langhorne, PA; a step-son, David (wife, Jean) Weimer of Knightsown; seven grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren; one sister, Dorothy Gephart Row of St. Petersburg, FL; seven nieces and seven nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, Clair L. Kaylor; a grandson, Scott A. Kaylor; two sisters, Carolyn Gephart and Evelyn Neuer-Zuber; three brothers, Denvin, Orlo, and Max Gephart; and two nephews.
Services will be private and at the convenience of the family at Hinsey-Brown Funeral Service Knightstown Chapel with Reverend Kenneth Wells officiating. Burial will be in Glen Cove Cemetery.
