Wilma June Kidd

March 17, 1923 — December 28, 2010

Wilma “June” Kidd, age 87, formerly of Losantville, passed away Tuesday, December 28, 2010 at Ball Memorial Hospital after an extended illness. She was born March 17, 1923 in Wolf County, Kentucky to the late George Franklin and Sylvia (Collier) Brewer.

She had worked at Crystal’s Nursing Home in Parker City for several years. She was a member of the Mountainview Baptist Church in Modoc. She loved her flower garden, raising animals, crocheting, singing, cooking, photography and all kinds of crafts.

Survivors include two daughters, Sylvia Sue (husband, Tony) Blackburn of Bargersville, IN and Georgeanna J. Johnson of Mooreland; a son-in-law, Edmond C. Sparks of Modoc; daughter-in-law; Janice Faye Bush of Yorktown; nine grandchildren, Jama (husband, James) Marlow of Modoc, June Binion of Mooreland, Nikki (husband, Jimmy) Shockley of Whiteland, IN, Michelle Presseau of Yorktown, Heather Bush (fiancé, Henry Luna) of Muncie, Dustin (wife, Sarah) Sparks of Prince Edward Island, Canada, Kelly J. (husband, Don) Gordon of Lebanon, OH, Cathy (husband, Dan) Milano of Whiteland, IN and Sarah G. (husband, Jeff) Huffman of Greenwood; thirteen great grandchildren; eight great-great grandchildren; sister, Janice (husband, Frank) Burns of TN; sister-in-law, Choon Dho Tanner of Waynesville, OH; many nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Marion T. Bush; second husband, Leslie G. Kidd; daughter, Janet G. Sparks; son, Marion Lee Bush; brother, Dean Brewer; sister, Jean Montague.

Services will be at 2:30 p.m. Friday, December 31, 2010 at Hinsey-Brown Funeral Service in New Castle with Pastor James Marlow officiating. Graveside services will be held in Campton, Kentucky. Friends may call from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
