Wilma Faye Love, age 82, of New Castle, passed away Saturday, October 11, 2008 at Glen Oaks Health Campus in New Castle. She was born June 25, 1926 in Fayette County, to the late Clarence and Ruth (Hardwick) Hancock.
She Retired from Ford Motor Company in 1994 after 27 years of service. She was a member of the Church of Christ in New Castle and loved little children, flowers and nature.
Survivors include her husband, Hubert C. Love of New Castle, whom she married April 13, 1997, two sons, Larry (wife, Mary) Helmsing of Richmond, IN and Marvin (wife, Jan) Helmsing of Cambridge City, IN; a step daughter, Carol (husband, Richard) Selby of Fishers, five grandchildren: Mark Helmsing of Phoenix, AZ and Amanda Helmsing of Cambridge City, IN, Nancy Brown of Largo, FL and Angie Helmsing of Indianapolis, Michael (wife, Cathy) Helmsing of Madison, Wisconsin; a great grandson, Adam Helmsing of Stratford, Wisconsin.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Don, Delbert, and Darryl Hancock; and a sister, Louise Howell; a grandson, Christopher Helmsing.
Services will be at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, October 14, 2008 at Hinsey-Brown Funeral Service in New Castle with Mike Kirby officiating. Burial will follow in Doddridge Chapel Cemetery near Centerville. Friends may call from 5-8 p.m. Monday, October 13, 2008 at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be given to the Help the Animals Inc., 2101 W.
