Wilma (Bogue) West

Wilma Jean (Bogue) West, age 78, passed to eternal rest on Thursday, November 05, 2009 at Englewood Manor Nursing Center in Englewood, Ohio. She was born March 14, 1931 in Henry County. She was predeceased by her husband, Fred H. West and her parents, Kenneth and Goldie Bogue of Spiceland.
A graduate of Spiceland High School, she was a very proud member of the Stillwater Civil War Roundtable at Troy, Ohio. Her last three years of declining health were spent at Englewood where she was President of the Resident Council where she was nominated 2008 Resident of the Year from all the Eden-Liberty Nursing Centers. She had attended Memorial Baptist Church in Dayton, Ohio for many years and was a member of the Spiceland Friends Church.
Survivors include two brothers, Kenneth Paul (wife, Jeannene) Bogue of Fountaintown and Wayne (wife, Pat) Bogue of Spiceland; nieces and nephews, Mike (wife, Susie) Bogue of Monument, CO, Randy (wife, Donna) Bogue of Grove City, OH, Teresa (husband, Gene) Czaplinski of Fountaintown, Tim (fiancé, Vicki) Bogue of Decatur, IL, Christy (husband, Ben) Weger of Indianapolis, Linda (husband, Ken) Emerson and Mandy (husband, Marcus) Boyd both of Spiceland; several great nieces and nephews.
Services will be at 2:30 p.m. Sunday, November 8, 2009 at Hinsey-Brown Funeral Service in New Castle with Pastor Cathy Harris officiating. Family and friends may call an hour prior to the service. Burial will take place at 11:00 a.m. Monday, November 9, 2009 in Glen Haven Memorial Gardens in Donaldsville, Ohio. Memorial contributions may be given to the charity of the donor’s choice.
