Wm. Roscoe Jessee

Wm. Roscoe Jessee, age 76, of Hillsboro, passed away unexpectedly, Wednesday, June 30, 2010 at Henry County Hospital. He was born December 29, 1933 in Soldier, Kentucky to the late Mason and Minnie (Madden) Jessee.
He retired in 1992 from Kirklin and Sons Construction in Muncie after 43 years of service. Roscoe was a member of Ninth Street Church of God in New Castle.
Survivors include his wife of 54 years, Judy (Gregory) Jessee of New Castle; four children, Bill (wife, Jackie) Jessee of New Castle, Bob (wife, Lori) Jessee of Muncie, Linda (husband, Mike) Bir-Conn of New Castle and Lisa (husband, Fred) Heuer of New Castle; nine grandchildren, Jonathon Jessee, Sarah Jessee, Adam Jessee, Christy Grayson, Shane Sears, Steve Sears, Elizabeth Bir, Debbie McCann and Wendy Bowman; eleven great grandchildren; brother, Ralph Jessee of Blountsville; sister, Margaret Jessee of Mooreland; several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a son-in-law, Paul Bir; sisters, Bertha, Judy and Thelma; brothers, Ed, James and Ray.
Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, July 3, 2010 at Hinsey-Brown Funeral Service in New Castle with Reverend Elwood Evans and Rick Evans officiating. Burial will follow in Sugar Grove Cemetery.
